Buy a house in

Costa Blanca South

Buying a house in the Costa Blanca? The Costa Blanca has a lot to offer! This costa has been named the healthiest region in Europe by the World Health Organization.

Subtropical temperatures

With more than 300 days of sunshine per year, you can enjoy pleasant temperatures all year round. The average temperature is 18°C, which means that the temperatures in the summer are not extremely high and the winters feel like eternal spring for us northerners.

In addition, the high iodine content in the air makes the climate particularly suitable for people with respiratory problems, allergies, asthma or skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis. Those who suffer from rheumatism or other muscle and/or joint complaints also generally feel much better here.

Costa Blanca South

The Costa Blanca (white coast) is located in the southeast of Spain, on the Mediterranean Sea in the province of Alicante and has more than 200 km of coastline. The golden beaches and beautiful bays (called ‘Cala’) border breathtaking green forested valleys and impressive mountains.

The southern area is known for its sandy beaches. The region is also praised for its many beautifully landscaped 18-hole golf courses. Here you can play a different course every day of the week within a radius of 15-20 km.

The landscape is characterised by a constant alternation between flat agricultural lands and rolling terrain.

Along the coast you will find Santa Pola, Guardamar, Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada as the main cities. Inland from Santa Pola you will find the fairly large city of Elche.

Here too, inland there is more peace and space to be found, in places such as Ciudad Quesada, Rojales, Aspe, La Romana, Pinoso and the Hondon valley. Generally speaking: the further from the coast, the more space and lower the prices.

Golf clubs in Costa Blanca South

Do you like golf? Then you are in the right place in Costa Blanca South. There are many golf courses here! From the wide range, we have highlighted the best.

Las Ramblas

Las Ramblas is an excellent course set in dramatic, contrasting scenery. Las Ramblas means ‘The Dry Ravines’ and most of the tees are over or along a ravine, so make sure you have plenty of balls. This is a challenging course, even for the low handicap golfer, and the greens are fast. Buggies are recommended for this hilly course.

La Marquesa Golf and Country Club

La Marquesa Golf and Country Club is set in a flat valley between mountains and is sheltered by its own unique microclimate. The clubhouse is beautifully appointed and even has a swimming pool, a great place to cool off after another round of golf in the sun! The golf club has a driving range, putting green and practice green.

Vistabella Golf

Discover your golf course on the Costa Blanca, near Alicante.
The integration of nature and the responsible use of resources make Vistabella more than just a golf course, with a unique landscape of over 40 hectares full of native trees and Mediterranean shrubs, near Torrevieja, Alicante.

Campoamor Golf

Campoamor Golf has been challenging experienced golfers since 1988. The course was born from the wild beauty of Dehesa de Campoamor between two interconnected valleys, surrounded by small hills that protect it from the wind, generating a microclimate that makes it possible to play golf all year round.

Villamartin Golf

Golfbaan Villamartin opened in June 1972.
Golf Club Villamartin has an exciting design and many challenges. The course is par 72 and the length is 6132 meters from the white tees, 6037 from the yellow and 5259 from the red. Hole 17 is the par 3 signature hole with a demanding 200m carry from the back tee to an extremely undulating green.
Among the challenges are the many old pine trees and olive trees. Regardless of the challenges, golfers can enjoy beautiful views of the Mediterranean from several holes.

Las Colinas

Las Colinas Golf Course is rated as one of the best new golf courses in Spain. Buggies recommended due to the distances between the greens and the next tees. Good practice area. Also ideal for professional competitions.

La Finca Golf

La Finca Golf Course is the best golf course in the Alicante region. Lakes and natural running water are in abundance, as is nature.
The almost 6,500-meter long course is designed for tournaments. The natural surroundings not only offer majestic views of lakes, trees and mountains, but also challenge and make the game more exciting, including having to hit a ball on an island green on the fifth.
