Algorfa
Algorfa is a village on the Cosa Blanca south, with over 3000 inhabitants.
A real Spanish village, where the siesta is still sacred and where you can still find the small baker and butcher hidden behind a front door. The cozy village square is the meeting point for the inhabitants, but also for those who live on the golf resort. The walk from the resort to it leads through fields with orange trees.
It is a very cozy village, rurally located near the river Segura and is surrounded by orange groves, lemon plantations and olive trees.
At the village square at the church, the inhabitants come to eat their tapas and drink wine on the cozy terraces, bars and restaurants, a real “Spanish way of life” still prevails here. Dance parties are held on this square, performances by the local dance clubs, children’s parties and so on.
Typical Spanish shops can be found in the surrounding streets such as a local bakery, butcher’s shop and a few small supermarkets.
The coast can be reached in fifteen minutes. The beautiful wide white sandy beach of Guardamar or the bay beach of La Zenia. Larger towns and cities nearby: Torrevieja, Elche, Alicante, Murcia. Alicante airport can be reached in 30 minutes.
