Gran Alacant is a sub-municipality of Santa Pola in Alicante, where there are several urbanisations.
To the north, the area borders the beach and the town of Arenales del Sol; to the west, it is bordered by the N-332 and the El Clot de Galvany Natural Park. From the central areas of Santa Pola, the Gran Alacant area is separated by a forest area of several kilometres.
The nearest airport is in Alicante, just 11 km from Gran Alacant (15 minutes by car or 30 minutes by bus).
Gran Alacant overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and, via a pleasant walk, you can reach the pleasant sandy beach of El Carabassi within 15 minutes. Alicante airport can be reached in just 10 minutes.
