La Nucia

La Nucia is a municipality in the Spanish province of Alicante in the region of Valencia with an area of 21 km². La Nucia has 19,967 inhabitants.

La Nucia is located about 10 km from Benidorm but it is still quiet and old-fashioned Spanish. La Nucia is located just a short distance from the tourist crowds.

The old center consists of car-free streets, but goes up and down a bit steeply. So it is best to leave your bike somewhere and explore the village on foot. It is a typical Spanish village with a cozy square in front of the church and a few restaurants. At the end of the old town there are also “miradors” to the village of Polop, and they are quite spectacular.

Not far from the sports complex, in Carrer de Guadalest, you can fly from tree to tree through different zip lines. Some of them are up to 300 meters long and others are double lines.
